FAQ How do you charge? For general editorial or journalistic services my standard hourly rates apply (please enquire). All projects are unique, so I usually negotiate fees at the time of commission. What rights do you offer? Rights are negotiable. It depends on your needs. If you only require first statewide serial rights, that’s fine. If you’re after full rights, no problem. Rights are priced accordingly. What about expenses? Nominal expenses are treated as overheads – you won’t be billed for them. Major expenses such as travel are billed on top of the job fee. I don’t mark them up. Can you provide images with the story? While I have taken photos for publication, writing and editing are my core competencies. I can source images or brief photographers if it makes your life easier. Where can I see more samples? Just ask and I can supply you by e-mail or snail mail with more clippings from my portfolio of published work. |
